Two teenagers connect across the divides of London’s gangs. Meteor, a WMD, and Jaycee, from a different postcode. Yet their deepening relationship feels matched at every turn by the hostility of the world around them.
To escape its grasp they’ll need all their smarts, and faith in one another.
To survive what’s coming, they’ll need something far greater.
A massive THANK YOU to all my fellow Stackers for your interest in and support for my fiction. It’s been a long ole journey finally within reach of a happy milestone.
The novella is currently available for pre-order in various countries but will soon be available for purchase worldwide by 28th July.
You may be aware, pre-orders help enormously with visibility in an increasingly algorithmic age. They also send out a univocal message of support for indie authors and publishers. Moreover, you’ll get your copy before everyone else, which means your (genuinely glowing or groaning) reviews get headlined and shared first.
I don’t think an indie novella from a first time author has ever made the bestsellers, (though I stand to be corrected). Here’s hoping Substack power might change that…

Congratulations! The cover looks amazing and I wish you much success with the book! I did go to pre-order a copy, but postage to the US was £25.45. Sorry, I tried! Maybe an ebook is in my future ;-)
